Welcome to the Spice Journeys Shop. If you purchase from this shop, please read our policy below carefully.

GENERAL POLICY
Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can not offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
We have the right to deny a refund, if any item is damaged for reasons not due to our error or it is returned more than 15 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable)
For refunds, please contact us initially by email at info@spicejourneys.com with an explanation for the return. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
Damaged goods (if applicable)
Please check with the postal carrier first about damages if you think the goods were altered during delivery. You can then contact us initially by email at info@spicejourneys.com with an image and explanation of the damaged goods. We will then notify you by email if the item should be returned or not.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@spicejourneys.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or if the goods were damaged before shipping.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving reasons.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the date on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods. It does not start to run before you receive this textual instruction.
In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform both Spice Journeys, GmbH, Nordstrasse 13, 6300 Zug (Switzerland) or support@spicejourneys.com and Seidenmann AG, Limmatquai 62, 8001 Zurich (Switzerland) or shop@seidenmann.ch, by means of a clear statement (eg letter, fax or e-mail) and to inform of your decision to revoke this contract.
To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the declaration of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of the cancellation
If you withdraw from this Agreement, we will return to you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for the costs arising from choosing a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery we offer immediately and no later than fourteen days from the date on which the notification of your cancellation of this contract has reached us. For the repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed with you; In no case will you be charged for this repayment fees.
You must return the goods to us immediately and in any event not later than fourteen days from the date on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
We may refuse to repay you until we have the goods are back in our possession or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
Prices and costs
For deliveries within Switzerland VAT is currently 7.7% of the price.
For deliveries outside Switzerland, no VAT is included. For deliveries outside Switzerland additional import duties, customs duties and country-specific sales taxes may be incurred in the receiving country. These will be charged directly to the consignee by the freight forwarder.
Delivery and retention of title
The delivery of goods (dispatch) takes place within 5 working days, subject to availability. The customer must be available to receive the goods and is responsible for understanding local deliver service requirements. If goods are not able to be delivered, this is the customers responsibility. Any costs for re-shipping returned goods, is the responsibility of the customer.
Quality and warranty
The Seidenmann AG has high standards for quality control of all articles in both production and procurement of good. As these are hand crafted articles, there can be small deviations in size and shape.
The representation on the screen or on a paper print is never identical to a natural object. The colors and luminosity may vary depending on the computer, monitor, or printer. A screen is bright, a textile is rather dull. By ordering on our online shop, the customer confirms that he has knowledge and accepts that he can not make any complaints, if the colors of textile and printing of the goods received are not exactly identical to the screen display or its printout on paper. The images shown on the homepage are for illustration only and are not binding.
Should there nevertheless be defects in the delivered goods, the customer has the obligation to report the defects in writing within 8 days after delivery. After returning the defective goods, the customer receives a replacement. If no substitute delivery is possible, the seller refunds the payment made. In addition, any claim for reduction, conversion or compensation for consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The customer forfeits any warranty rights in case of improper use of the goods.
